Reva/Terms
terms
The deal, in plain English.
Use Reva and you agree to these. The big one first: this is information, not medical advice.
Last updated 1 July 2026 - written to be read, not to hide things in clause 47.
This is information, not medical advice
Every Reva score is an algorithmic estimate built from public regulatory and scientific data. It is not a diagnosis and it is not a treatment plan. It exists to help you read a label, not to replace a professional. If you build on the API, you must carry the same disclaimer downstream, wherever a score is shown. For a skin condition, see a professional.
Using the service
- Keep your API key secret. Calls made with your key are your responsibility.
- Do not scrape around the rate limits.
- Do not resell raw API access.
- Do not reverse or rebuild the dataset in bulk.
- Do not present a Reva output as an official regulator ruling or as a brand's own claim.
What you may do with the output
A transformed, scored result you generate is yours to use in your product, commercially. The upstream sources - EU CosIng, the CIR reviews, the regulator lists - keep their own licences, and their attribution is passed through to you per field so you can honour it.
Billing
The API bills monthly on matched calls. A miss - a 404, or a held low-confidence score - is free. You can cancel any time, effective at the end of the cycle.
Liability
The service is provided "as is". Nothing here removes the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Changes
We will post material changes here and date them. Continued use means you accept the update.
